A mobile social sauna club on wheels

SAUNABUS

**PROJECT INFO

Korea's public bathhouses were always a kind of town square — places where strangers sweated side by side, traded small talk and left recharged. While contemporary wellness has drifted toward quiet, solitary rest, SASASA set out to bring the sauna back to the crowd. Saunabus is the company's own community sauna program: a converted city bus that travels between forests, city streets, harbours and festivals. The brief was to turn that bus into a complete brand experience.

Close-up of the Saunabus side panel: '뜨겁다!' ("It's hot!") in a red oval above the white Korean wordmark, over a pale-blue body and wheel
Full side view of the Saunabus parked on grass in a pine grove, its blue-and-white body carrying an SSS emblem and a '오늘도 뜨겁게 출발한다' sticker
Two crops side by side: the Korean wordmark under the windscreen, and the SSS symbol filling the rear window
Two crops: SAUNABUS lettering across the windows, and a yellow SSS emblem on the body stripes beside a guest at the window
Logotype: the horizontally stretched Korean and English wordmarks, set on a construction grid
Brand symbol: three 'S' strokes rising like steam inside an oval emblem
Colour system: Saunabus Blue, Red, Black, Gray, Off-White and White, with accents in Playful Yellow, Hot Red and Refreshing Green
Three tape patterns repeating 사우나버스, SAUNA BUS and the SSS symbol on blue, black and red bands
Graphic badges: a yellow SSS, a red '뜨겁다!', a '벌써가? 어디가!' speech burst, and black bands reading '오늘도 뜨겁게 출발한다' and '살아남았다는 것은 강하다는 것'
Livery drawings of both sides, front and rear, placing stripes, SSS emblems and sticker graphics
Two shots: the bus seen through leaves, and a close-up of the '뜨겁다!' oval and vertical lettering above the wheel
Interior rendering: pale-blue bus seats, modular shelving hung with robes and towels, and grab handles over the lounge
Interior rendering: a timber counter along the windows facing a row of blue seats, with the sauna room at the rear
The real vehicle's driver's seat and front seats, with the SAUNA BUS tape pattern along the seat base
Three blue plastic bus seats, each backrest printed with the white Korean wordmark
The finished interior: a timber counter on the left, blue seats on the right, and the sauna door at the far end
Guests seen through the sauna's glass door, behind the white Korean wordmark
Two shots: the timber sauna room, and the '사우나 이용 수칙' (sauna rules) sign mounted on the wall
Signage system: the sauna rules board, a löyly guide, and '손대지 마세요' (do not touch) warning signs
Two shots: water ladled over the sauna stones, and a back glistening with sweat
Three campaign posters: '살아남았다는 것은 강하다는 것', a robe and bag on the seats, and '오늘도 뜨겁게 출발한다'
A pale-blue robe, white sneakers and a red duffel bag on the blue seats, with the forest blurring past the window
Two people in robes sitting in camping chairs with a cooler behind the bus
The bus entrance with mats, slippers and a 'THE NEW SAUNA CULTURE' banner laid out on the grass
People cooling off with a hose spray beside the bus
The Saunabus in the woods, overlaid with the SAUNABUS wordmark
